Our Story

Ms. Jan’s Two-Five is the creation of Pensacola, FL, native Jan Castillo. Raised in a Southern household, Ms. Jan found comfort in the kitchen, and was always cooking from a young age, soaking up everything she could. Eventually, she found herself tweaking and improving her old family recipes, tailoring them to absolute perfection. It is those amazing dishes that she is proud to serve to customers today- selling them by the quart (or .25)- hence the name “Two-Five”.

As her own son was growing up, his friends all knew that they would be able to get a bite to eat at their home, and couldn’t wait to see what Ms. Jan would serve up next.

With 18+ years of experience in food, beverage, and catering, Ms. Jan is an expert in comfort food and will go above and beyond to make your experience a pleasure, whether it be a backyard gathering of old friends, or just a cozy night in by yourself.
